When I picked up this stingray the people got the net stuck to the bard will he shed this or do I need to take it off manually

Once you see the ray have 2 barbs the original one with the piece of net will fall off, took mine a few months

They'll shed their barb, I wouldn't worry about it unless it will cause issues.
