Hey guys, I have a small challenge for you. In your opinion what would be the best way to boost biofiltration (or beneficial bacteria) with just $75 on Amazon.ca. I got a $75 amazon gift card from my aunt but I can think pf nothing I'd want to invest it on other than my tank. I want to boost my biofiltration but I'm still stuck on simple small sponge filters (which would help but I still have money left over!). Thanks for reading!;)

Kaldness k1! You will need a moving bed filter tho. Pretty simple to make if you have a sump.
I recently bought two cubic feet on amazon for $80. It seems promising.

depends on size and cut out of tank.
Im leaning towards AC70 or AC110's (aquaclear filters)

seachem matrix or pond matrix and bio bags to hold it, drop it in whatever filter you already have, won't need anything else.

Aren't seachem matrix literally just cheap stones literally sold at $50 a liter? I don't want to be buying some cheap rocks that are just as expensive as highquality bio media. Correct me if I'm wrong.
