I think it depends on what you like; what some people think is great might not appeal to you at all. Go out to some shops and look at the displays they have, if you see something you like then ask what they use. Personally, I use an agua glo during the day as I like the softer look. At night, I run an actinic to simulate the moon. As long as you like it, that's all that matters.
If you are well known at your lfs, they will probably let you try bulbs until you find the setup you like. You'll pretty much know right away.
