Good aquarium Seal Vs a Bad one

Would someone please post photos' of a Good aquarium Seal Vs. a Bad one looks like ? just so people are able to know the signs of when a tank may be in danger of springing a leak or blowing out .

Sounds like you're referring to the in-tank seal that you can actually feel, correct? If so, then the only thing to check for, is to see if you can physically lift the silicone off the glass. Poor prepping of the glass will result in poor adhesion and will cause the silicone to come off the glass easily. You can have an ugly looking seal and still have a proper seal, and you can have seal that looks factory done and its actually a poor seal because the prep wasn't done correctly.

Looks can be very deceiving when it comes to a seals appearance. I have a 90 that looked brand new but leaked like crazy. The flip side is my 180 that I would've swore would not hold water but low and behold it never dripped a drop. I resealed both anyway.
