there are a few species which i am unfamiliar with and are commonly mislabeled/identified.
i liked his pattern. haven't found info to really base what he is off of yet.
any help is appreciated. :)

I'd say a flower ray that's just dull from stress
If it is the one from shark aquarium as Jette suggested (and i think it is too) it is not a flower... it was labeled correctly but the name escapes me.

Tank said humerosa and orbingyni.
I am unclear on a few names. Including those two.
Online I haven't been able to find concrete definite info/facts.
Any suggestions?

there it is! Humerosa- good looking ray saw it yesterday.

The shape of the ray doesn't look like a castexi to me.
Here's a pic of a tigrillo i picked up not too long ago.
Still not certain what it is. I will take better pic when he stops moving.
