I'm just going to say right off the bat that I want a bottom feefer primarilly that can carry more than its own weight, meaning a bottom feeder that doesn't have a huge bioload but almost exclusively feeds off fish waste. I already have a 12" pleco that does a AMAZING job at keeping the tank spotless of algae (haven't scrubbed algae in MONTHS) I also have a 6" striped raphael catfish, 8" kelberi Pbass, 13" oscar (I want to get rid of), and two 7" goldfish that go in a fountain for half the year. The tank is 120 gallons. Also the fish can't be smaller than 6" or larger than 10". Thank you please answer quick if you can!!!!

Try a few clown loaches, catfish can be very weird and synodontis are wack!

Well there's two reasonable options! Thanks! But the thing is which one would consume more waste or extra food matter? I think clown loaches look a little nicer but I don't need it to look nice, just to do its job the looks are a plus XD

Yeah, I don't think clown loaches are an option. They need a minimum of my tank size for one! Since they get 12" and need groups of atleast three. Plus I'm not confident enough of my water quality. Also they're sensitive to ich and I don't want my Pbass or oscar catching it. Also they're sensitive to salt and I add a little salt after every water change. Any other Options? I'll also look into featherfin catfish more.

I don't think there is a catfish that "almost exclusively feeds off fish waste". Given nothing else to eat, one may make some catfish to feed like this but it'd be impossible in our hobby as the catfish would simply compete for "normal" foods given to its tank mates. I'd cautiously add too that neither such a thought or strategy represents an adequate pet care IMHO.

Feces are processed by organisms other than fish in the wild, lower organisms, if you aim at recreating a food chain closer to that found in natural ecosystems.

spotted raphiel catfish are a good bottom feeder/clean up crew fish
Also, if the pleco is a common pleco it should get algae wafers and cat scrapers with protein. Algae is good for them but it should not be their whole diet. Still, even if it can survive on algae dosent mean it should.
