Would this work? The tanks a 125, largest fish now is 10" smallest is around 4". My LFS has a leporinus that 8" and looks pretty nice. I've read about the fin nipping but would one be too aggressive for the other?

Its a shot in the dark. If they are large predatary haps might be ok. Leporinus can be very nasty. I could not keep one about that size with my adult Veija cichlids big black belt and Zonatus.

Could be a gamble. I recently bought one that is about 3" and had it in a 10 gal qt tank with two small severums. The leporinus was nipping the severums. They are all in the display tank now, and the leporinus doesn't bother the severums or other fishes. Might work if you have enough room, but be prepared to remove if it doesn't.
