Just got a 4-5" Arowana today and after he went into the tank he didn't eat so far the food I have is bloodworms, and brine shrimp and tubiflex floating food I'm getting more food on Friday any ideas? I was thinking about beef heart and pinkey mice and crickets and maybe worms? Does pinkey mice have nutritional value?

Meal worms and crickets are good options. I would stay away from mammal flesh other than beef heart used as a treat.

If you do use beef heart. Take your time and carefully cut away as much fat as possible. Fish have a hard time digesting the fat of mammals from what I read.

You bought yours at SA, where I bought mine. It's already on pellets use hakari floating carni sticks. Mine started eating on day 2. Break them in half it easier for them.
