Questions about sump intake

Hello I'm thinking of setting up a sump for my 125g freshwater aquarium but I'm somewhat confused about how to draw the water out of the tank because I don't want to drill the tank myself. Is there a way around drilling the tank? Thanks for any input

I have my sump at the same high next to my tank.
When you do it like this you dont need any holes in your tank .
Only U shaped overflows.
Also you can not have problems with water in your lkving room.
