What is a good Central American/South American wet pet? I would buy a new tank for it depending on how big it would be. I don't really like Oscars or Midas/Red Devil. I would prefer something aggressive but interactive. Thanks everyone

+1 tank size / dimensions will play a big part in suitable choice of cichlid , I personally love jags too

As others have stated, what is the largest tank you can realistically manage?
My favorite wet pet right now is my giant gourami. These things will require at least 500gal when fully grown.
My second favorite is my pumpkinseed sunfish. 55gal should do.
