So I currently have 9 of these in my 125. I would like to keep them without having to deal with any of the breeding aggression so I'm thinking of keeping just the males. Would that work ok and what is a good number to keep. They will be with angels and clown loaches.

yea you can do that, I have 6 in my 125 (3m 3f, all paired up) so if you kept just males you would be fine with prob 8 or so i'd guess. it depends on what you have for hiding spots and territories, i've got my driftwood laid out so that there are territories of about 1" squared and they squabble a bit, but are pretty chill with that. i think i have room to introduce one more pair and things would be fine. the angels will stay out of the way, don't know about the loaches though, i've never kept them.
