Just a questions for the Americans in here, its about red ear sliders turtles, I was wondering if they are rare or hard to come by over there?

I've seen several members on this site and others saying that they really want a red ear sliders.

They are very common in the U.S., probably the most common turtle you can buy.

They are in abundance in Canada also. Not aloud to sell here as they are indigenous to the location. I have one that was pulled from a lake about 10 years ago from my father in law and he is great. will eat out of your hand and cruises around the back yard when i change water.
