Two or three 300 watt heaters for a 240 gallon glass and what size air pump is needed

Hello everyone i have another quiestion regarding my 240 gallon glass 8'2'2 glass tank. Should i go with 2 or three 300 watt heaters for this tank and what size or model air pump should i be using thanks in advance for you'r time and input. Also if you have a tank this size or around this size what do you use for air pumps and heaters brands watts exct? And do you know where is a good cheap site to buy these thanks again.

I have one 250w heater do my 375g acrylic, but it's 1" acrylic in a heated fish room. Holds at 82 degrees no problem. Use the shatter-proof Stealth heaters inside my overflow box.

I would go with 2x 300w's though, if your worried about it.. They will last longer that way, and if one goes out you will have a backup heating the tank until you can fix it..

Hello again,

Just so i'm more clear sorry i live in mass on cape cod. And my tank is in a finished basement that stays pretty cool in the summer thanks again for you'r time the reason i ask is i have never had a tank this size and most 300 watt hearter i found are rated from 50-100 or 75-100 gallons some even less. Thanks again for you'r time.
