for a begginer hobbyist, what kind of cichlids would be good for a 125gallon.
"old world cichlid tank".

can i still put oscars in it if the ph is 8.0?

where do you buy stone-work, tiles, rocks for cichlid tanks?

HomeDepot/Menards/Lowes....lol...or just go out and collect it me self. Sandblastin sand, pebbles...practically anything can work. BTW...Old World Cichlids are African.....;).....you should go with New World....South American/Central American cichlids are PIMP! Plus they got more personality!!

OR

tank#2 125gallons " old world cichlid tank"
-1 electric yellow cichlid
-1 blue peacock cichlid
-1 electric blue cichlid
-1 yellow peacock cichlid
-1 acei cichlid
-1 moorei cichlid
-1 red peacock cichlid
-1 albino peacock cichlid
-1 cobalt blue zebra cichlid

any suggestions; should i add fish or subtract fish?
what kind of rock work do i put in the tank, any requirments for cichlid tanks?

How about this for option #3:

2 - Crenicichla acutorostris
6 - Geophagus sp. 'redhead tapajos'
2 - Amphilophus lyonsi
2 - Caquetaia spectabile

That would make for a KICKIN tank bro! ;)
Make them all pairs...and DAZAYMN! You got urself a pimpin show piece. Add some drift wood, live plants...wooo doggies!!
