With lots of room to move he terrorizes cichlids and almost everything else in the tank.
The Emperor will take him on so they normally ignore each other.

Actually the cichlids don't bother the rays because of the space they have.
Also the Rays do eat cichlids the catch. Generally those up to 4 or 5 inches.

Which type of rays o u keep there?

After attending the 2008 Stingray convention in Chicago I don't know.
They all appear to be Potamotrygon motoro. However the biologists at the convention said that many of the rays sold as motoro's are actually P. orbignyi.
I used to have a large p. leopoldi/henlei in the tank but he died in 2009.
In other tanks I have P. dumerilli, P. hystrix, P. reticulatus.

There are some conventions in England you might be able to attend.
