anyone made a filter from bucket?

hi has anyone made a filter from a bucket? like a canister but budget into a bucket. if soo please post me a picture or tell me about it
 
I've seen wet/drys made from buckets, but I'd be afraid of a bucket leaking in a canister style setup.
 
I have made 3 of these ranging from 2 to 4 chamber system... These are Drum but i have also made them out of the 22g drums and buckets. I cant seem to tell which pic or which in my Dir.

i kno this thread is 10 days past but Bizzaro how did u make the drain valve? just a ball valve?
 
Check out the thread called "Quick and Cheap Wet-dry" from yesterday. It shows a bucket bio-filter. I agree about not using buckets as canister style filters, it would be a lot of work to make them hold pressure reliably.
 
There are a lot of variations to using a bucket for a filter. A simple version I often make is putting the bucket into the tank with a powerhead. (internal powerfilter).
