what can a jag pair up with to make a hybrid? any pics?

im jus wondering how one would look like :)
 
I've seen jag/texas, and some sort of a red jag, but none look as good as a good full bred jag IMO.

They werent ugly though:)
 
A jag x festae cross is something to see, BTW... These are very impressive and called "manaconda". There's a couple pics in cichlidsforever.com, FYI. :grinyes:

how would one make a jag x festae hybrid? male jag n female festae or male festae and female jag? when do the 2 get sexually mature and how do you find out their gender? what are the earliest signs to show male/female?
 
There is a thread in the pic lounge somewhere title STRAIGH FROM ASIA HYBRID. or something along those lines. Which shoes a red jag which i think rallysman was talking about

I'm not sure if hybridizing fish is a goal that we should be pursuing. I know that it is rampant in the fish hobby these days but really no good can come of it. We just end up diluting our pure stock and creating problems for future generations. I guess I don't understand trying to create something out of an organism that is perfect to begin with.
