Got this off Big Dovii on my birthday.
He bred it out of a Male Carpintus and a Female Festae if your curious.
Very Aggressive fish.
Runs my tank.

He doesn't have a curving dorsal fin if you curious,
the pictures were just taken during movement.

The flash really let's us see his red base colour.
Without flash you can see his scales pretty good.
 
As for pure breed crossing, I think that's pretty cool.
 
man i dont care what people say about hybrids, but that is one cool looking fish! me wants!

my friend from down the block had a male and female.
they both passed though, they look exactly alike males.
males are larger bodied and get darker bars.
they also don't grow as large or quick.
 
Looks alot better than the red texas low grade toss aways i see at all the lfs that they want 25$ for cool hybrid i want 1.
