Love the marble cat. What is its scientific name? How big do they get? Info about them? I've been looking for them at my lfs, but of course nothing cool to find. Love the rtc as well.

wat cuties i have some new babies as well

Leiarius longibarbis, or perrunicthys perruno, depending on which species you believe it is. I have only ever seen Leiarius longibarbis according to their scientific descriptions the only way to tell them apart is through counting their dorsal fin rays. According to scientific literature L. longibarbis(formerly marmoratus), has 1 hard, and 11 soft dorsal fin rays, while perrunicthys perruno has 1 hard and only 8 soft fin rays. To date I have only ever seen one picture of an actual perrunicthys perruno, and it was wild caught. Just thought I would clear that up. They get to around 2' or more.

I miss my marbled cat(acara), atleast that's what they label them in ohio. I loved watching those xtra-xtra-xtra long whiskers at work. They are so cool. The only downfall of mine was he wasn't very active unless he was lookin for food. Great cat's though. And very fast growers!!!
