Big difference in color when they are breeding...which seems to be every couple weeks. Here's the female at home base.
You can see the small pile of fry in the back of the pot. They'll be swimming in a week.

One of eight H. Labridens "blue" Taninul Springs. I think if I bring any one fish to the convention for the show...this will be the fish. The largest is 9-10".
