Well I brought home Spizz' Cicnta from WA :) I say joined as I have owned a Sveni before..

Though I have not owned Crenecicla with the enthusiasm that I have fro this species :) I have a Sheet in my files here at work with Fish wanted.. At that point there were only two.. And it was in April of 2006 that I last modified that paper.

One of the two species is Crenecichla Cincta :D Whci I now have residing in a tank at my pad!!

Thanks Spizz!!!

Cinctas are underappreciated for their beauty I think. I LOVE that last shot. You can see why they were called blue tigers for a common name, at least until tigrinas were found.

Cincta's are one of our all-time Favs' ! We won 1st in class 2005 ACA with a nice cincta (Peru). There are 3 varities ~ green, red, and the elusive 'blue'. Believe Taz has a 16" Monster.

Here's a photo of our Peruvian red female currently about 8.5", she's growing into a real beaut!

Indeed, cincta are among my fav. of the Lugubris pikes! Their huge size just demands respect. Love their coloration as well! Definitely a must own if you can accomidate them!

Yesh, that bloody 'blue' variant is a pain in the arse to find. RRRG! Still no success. . . . :( All three variants are GORGEOUS though. Would be awesome to have a tank with all three variants in it. Woooooweee that would be crazy cool!

It wont let me watch :(

3 huh :D How do I get info on all three looks?
