Well not intentionally...
I knew it was a dumb and risky move to put a 3" aro with a 6" Gar.. and yet... I just couldn't stop myself.
Saw this very nice silver Aro in the LFS and just had to have it, knowing the huge risk involved.
Gar didn't bother with the Aro when I first introduced it to the tank, even when it kept swimming in front of the Gar. To make sure nothing bad happen, I kept monitoring the tank and made sure everybody was well fed. And just before i went to bed, I gave my gar an extra supper just to be sure.
But my worse fears were confirmed in the morning when i saw the Aro missing, and Gar having a round fat belly with a sheepish grin on its toothy maw.
An expensive lesson, in life and fish keeping.
