Well not intentionally...
I knew it was a dumb and risky move to put a 3" aro with a 6" Gar.. and yet... I just couldn't stop myself. :D

Saw this very nice silver Aro in the LFS and just had to have it, knowing the huge risk involved.
Gar didn't bother with the Aro when I first introduced it to the tank, even when it kept swimming in front of the Gar. To make sure nothing bad happen, I kept monitoring the tank and made sure everybody was well fed. And just before i went to bed, I gave my gar an extra supper just to be sure.

But my worse fears were confirmed in the morning when i saw the Aro missing, and Gar having a round fat belly with a sheepish grin on its toothy maw. :)
An expensive lesson, in life and fish keeping. :D

Wow :duh:

u just gave ur gar a 40$ snack

How much do arrows run any ways?

I was a complete idiot. It was one of those you know its going to turn out badly, but you just had to do it moments.

No j/k, we all make mistakes.

i do risky things like that sometimes. the out come is sometimes good and sometimes bad. i put a 2 inch baby p-bass with my 6 inch gar and the next day it was gone.
