Sigh...Another case of a koi mislabeled as goldfish.

It said he caught a Koi/carp and they said it looked alot like a large golden goldfish
 
Well they did mentioned that it was believed as a koi carp...
 
That's a big Koi! There was a Petsmart that I used to live by that I would find small Koi in the Feeder Goldfish tanks.

all of are koi in the pond came from the feeder tank and look very nice i will post pics if wanted.
 
Post the picture of your koi that comes from the feeder tank!

It may be true but sometimes you can find a mirror goldfish (mostly likely hybrids) and wild carp mixed with the feeder goldfish.
