Wow, that is one big Loach. I would love to have a school of them with a few Siamese Tigerfish. Make my eyes hurt watching the tank.

nice loach, i read that large clown loaches aren't that uncommon in the wild but for some reason they never seem to get very big in tanks

I love big clown loaches. That guy has some awesome color on him. I would like to add some to one of my big tanks but I have always had bad luck with loaches getting ich. Awesome pic

A friend of mine has 3 of them that are about 11-12" long. He grew them from the tiny one available in the shops.

Now as for how long it him, the loaches are as old as his daughter and I. 28 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
