Can you sex my RT Motas?

Got 2 RT motas from rapps back in Nov. I requested one male & one female. They spawned about a month ago they ate the eggs...supposedly. They just spawned again, but im beginning to wonder if I dont have 2 females as the larger one looks just like the smaller one. The mota in question is below. Male or female? And, yes I'll know in a few days if any of them are fertilized, but wanted to know now in case the eggs are eaten again.

I was afraid of that. I ordered a male & female festae and a male & female Mota and I got 2 male festae and 2 female motas....im pretty disappointed.

Anyhow, they swim around a like a mated pair even when there arent any eggs. Guess I have lesbian fish.
 
lol..well there are eggs in the flowerpot from someone.

As far as the festae go, are you sure they are both males? and if so, there was just someone on here looking for a male a few days ago. Maybe hed be interested in one of yours before they start fighting each other.
 
Definitely both females. I had a female cuban and female midas that would always lay eggs together and take turns laying them too!
 
Great looking Mota's but they definitley look female to me as well. I have a 6-6.5" and she looks like the ones in your pics.
