My RTC is crazy

All my fish are fine, but my RTC keeps acting funny. He runs in to rocks and the sand like he is iching. I dont think I Ick becase none of my fish have white spots or any iritated skin. I have a RTCxTSN that is the same size and in the same tank and he is health and active and not doning this. My RTC is really beating him self up his lips have red scraps all over them , and his fins and gills are geting scraped up , please ask any Quesitons that would be helpfull in finding out what is wrong with him thanks

gill flukes possibly ,prazi-pro ,safest bet for medication, couldnt hurt to try first,u cant see gill flukes but they will cause rapid respiration and scratching like crazy
 
I dint think they were on smaller fish , well not to small he is about 5" or 6"
and why would he scrach his lips
 
Thanks is there any other meds i could use, just incase they dont have that one, im guessing just about any parisite eleminater.
 
seperate the RTC and put it in a quartine tank by his self. rise the temp to 79 Dagree's and see if he is acting the same. add a airstone to the quartine tank.
how is your airation in your tank now? my cats do the same, but they do it to get there shedding off.
 
what is the shedding , i have huge air stone in the 180 Gal , he has gotten worst his skin looks like it is fawling off. so i put him in the hospital tank bumped the temp up to 79 and put a little salt and melafix. its been 24 hours and he looks a lot better. he was starting to get red bleeding scuffs all over him now they have cleared up some but i still dont know what is wrong with him
