my leapard pleco keeps attemting to latch onto my red tailed catfish and my red tailed cat dont like it can someone help

Give the pleco a time out and send him to the corner. Do that a couple of times and he will leave the cat alone.

This scenario is similar to the Chinese algae eaters.problem solved i put the pleco in my outdoor pond with my goldfish pacu gourmis and red parrot cichlid there is plenty of alage driftwood and leftover food to feed on.
good move with the pond, it wouldve only been a matter of time before your RTC got the sh*ts and ate him!!
