Repair of Repairs old tank

Repair gave me this 135 and stand because it had split at the seams...as you can see. I just wanted to share my resolution to this problem along with a couple other pix:)

Nicely done. I just repaired a 230 gallon that split at the corner seams and acrossed the bottom by framing it with wood and resealing it. The tank has been filled for about a month now and no leaking. I am in the process of cycling the tank now for a 230 gallon reef tank.

i think we may have something in common
i too would rather fix up old tanks over fixing my garage :)
 
Fixing leaky tanks has been one of my hobbies for many years.Never got a freebee that big though.nice :thumbsup:

my next tank upgrade Im gonna try an find a used (in need of small repair) 220 or larger.

actually im in the process of fixing the garage...its in the gutted stage:D

did you do that to all the corners or just the one?? nice pick up and nice quick fix.. if anyone wants to give away any more tanks let me know.. im looking for 1 around 100 gallon.
