Believe me dragging them to the sand is much better and gentle than landing them on rocks or on grass with thorny protrusions.

I was lifting my wading shorts to get closer to the fish in thigh high water and to prevent my wallet from getting wet. The cell phone popped out of my side pocket. when I whipped around to look at where the phone went down, my sunglasses flew off and went into the water, too.
Retrieved both items back after landing the Pea and then diving in the water.
Took my new favorite hooker to the beach today! It's a Mirrolure sinking twitchbait lure. The old one, pictured below, was lost to a Monster P. Bass a couple of weeks ago in an epic struggle with a monster fish. The new one is an exact replica. Took home another very nice pair, and released the third, a monster sized female.
