yeah he need more room so ima move him in a 20HIGH in a few days then his 4life home gonna be 29HIGH...here some new pics for today his coloring up nicely:drool::drool:
 
no, you're not going to keep that fish in a 29gallon for life. A 90gallon would be the minimum in my opinion. He will need a tank bigger than 29gallon after he reaches 5". Like everybody told you.. YOU DON'T NEED HEIGHT FOR CICHLIDS, length and width are the only thing that matters.

i know....im too lazy maybe a 30GAL or 55GAL im only gonna keep him.

no i just have a HEX around so i use it but now i free up my 20HIGH so ima put him in soon.
 
nice fish, do what you like buddy. Forget about the riduclous rule about tank size and stuff. Whatever size tank you put him in, he will only max his size base on the tank size. So unless u want him to be huge, then buy a bigger tank. Otherwise it all good.

you're too lazy..? Maybe you shouldn't be allowed to have pets then. Just because you're irresponsible does not mean that the fish should suffer. The best advice I can give you it to take that thing back to the pet store and never step foot back into a pet store.

"the ridiculous rule" and "he will only max his size base on the tank size" Great information!!! Where'd you come up with it? You should not be giving advice on something you know NOTHING about. Fish do not grow to their environment, they never stop growing regardless of the tank size. I can just hope that you don't have fish because if you did I'd hate to see the conditions you keep them in.

This isn't really a "riduclous rule", it's just the way fish grow. If a fish stunts its growth in a tank that is too small it could be for a number of reasons (high toxicity levels, not enough room for swimming i.e. muscle growth), but telling someone "So unless u want him to be huge, then buy a bigger tank" is pretty ignorant. Yes, I called you ignorant because that's what you are. IGNORING plain science in the name of laziness. Good Job.
