Beani conversation thread.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Picked them up from Joe roughly an hour ago - he's a great guy and an awesome contribution to the hobby.

I didn't bother drip acclimating, they were in such good shape that I just threw em' in, they're all doing great. I won't attempt feeding until later, though.

Some pictures and video - sorry the quality isn't that great.

You got a bunch! They look great. Look forward to seeing more of them.

Nice.... need to come by and see them! :naughty:

Well, within about 30 seconds of adding them to my large tank they were already pecking at left over food particles on the bottom, so I added a few pellets of NLS Large Fish Sinking Formula and they were all over them like a fat chick on ho-ho's.

Already all coming to the front of the tank and begging for food, larger ones are finger chasing.

I threw about 30 ghost shrimp in as well and don't see any left...have them in a Jungle Labs Parasite Clear bath for now, plan on removing it with the next water change and adding some carbon.

Fingers crossed, so far they're doing much better than I had expected for F0 fish.

Here are some pics of Jason's beani. I think this is a pretty good representation of the entire batch.

Lots of places for the shy ones to hide in that 180, but for the most part, they were coming right up to the glass & checking me out.

I can't wait for these guys to be monsters!
