Tank Mates for Elongatus Piranha?

nothing nothing nothing nothing.... nothing can be kept with any piranha unless you want it to eventually get eaten. Especially not an elong. They are one of the most aggressive species. The only thing that you might be able to get away with, depending on the size of the piranha, is a very very tiny fast tetra. They might be able to escape any attacks, but besides that there is litterally nothing that wont eventually be lunch.

I want to see what puts in there to get eaten hahaha

but i have crayfish and shrimp in my tank if they get eatin its fine i would not put a fish in there

You can not keep any "Fish" with a elong. period.

Some invents with armor on the other hand work for me. i had 2 snails in with my elong for a really long time.
Also my crayfish is living with my elong for a really long time and is still fine.
When the P tries to attack him he attacks back, but this only work for a LARGE cray. Small ones cant pinch hard and dont have strong enugh armor.

If u try this make sure ur cray is larger then his mouth so he cant bite him. This wont work with a rohm or P's with big jaws cause they can grip more area. Also provide many hideing places for the cray.

Just because it worked for me theres no gaurantee it will for u, my cray is really tough hes hurt me pretty bad a few times lmao

Ok so i looked in my tank 10 min after my last reply and he was out walking around i went to close to the glass and u can see by his pose hes ready to attack me haha thats what i mean by tough...

sure you could put one in there with him. Same thing that happened to the cray will happen to the wolf or vice versa. Pretty expensive feeder...

absolutely the more variety the better. In the wild they have a different menu everyday.
