Female Fh + Male texas (egg story)

hi guys, tonite my female Fh laid eggs.
she is 6 inches:mwave:
and male texas is 7 inches(Uncle) :grinno:

SHe is still laying eggs..

guys now tell me what are the precautions i take. Like water change,filtering and all also feeding habit
 
thats a nice texas.. i hope u get some colorful frys!
 
yupps guys, hope for the best. today i saw them fanning around the eggs

Ok guys here is my second day update. I see some of the eggs turning white and some having a black mark on them and colored somewhat offwhite.?????????????????
 
the white ones are dead. the ones with the spots are fertilized. the ones that are off white with no spot in them are probably not fertilized, they will turn white if so. if your fish do not eat the white ones, you will need to remove them if they start to grow mold on them. if not, the mold or fungus will spread to your fertile eggs. they should start to hatch tomorrow or tuesday. you will need to put filter floss or something over your filter intake so that the fry do not get sucked into your filter once they are free swimming.
