Now I have to go out and get an octopus...

Do yourself a favor, don't.
Hopefully this won't encourage the stubborn, but octopuses are extraordinarily hard to take care of. Besides being very picky about water parameters, they will escape out a hole the size of a quarter. They are also smart and strong enough to open (and close) many lid systems. Many aquariums have had octopuses escape their enclosure, go into another tank, eat all the fish and escape back into theirs with no sign of the event happening.

After all this, you become attached to the fish, and it has a 3 year life span. Very sad. (and most specimens are nearly 2 years when caught)

I love these guys...sooo freaken cool...thats why I had to get one tattooed on my arm :grinno:
