Sometimes... bad things happen to cool fish.

These two fish had lived together for over 4 years... and were, at the the time of their fatal meal, living together in a 300 Gallon tank with a number of large cichlids.

This is one of those... "Man I'm bummed, but wow! how cool is that?!" moments.

I mean... we all know that fish are pretty dim-witted creatures... but to kill yourself trying to eat something almost as big as you are?

Whoa!

These fish were well fed and had swum together for years... I have no idea what caused this... I came home from work to find them like this.

Wow man, I am very sorry for your loss. Things are truely unpredictable in this hobby!!
