My Tank Setup

One of my favorite fish eaten!

just like the tittle states! when i stocked my tank i had 2 oscars and 2 clown loaches. well when i got them the size of the loaches compared to the oscars weren't very different. well i guess i didn't anticipate for the oscars rate of growth and my red oscar ate one of my loaches. i am deeply hurt as i love my loaches but nope gone just like that!

lesson learned anticipate for the future, not what is the here and now! i'm still regretting it!

Sorry man that sucks. I would be mad too. Most all of us have lost a fish this way though, good lesson learned. Thanks for posting.

Yeah, the same happened to one of my 6 bar loach, but i think thats because it was sick. My other loach is far to quick for the oscar to catch it.

My Tank Setup

well i noticed one was missing the other night so i got curious and starting looking around my tank. after a while i came to the conclusion that he worked himself down into a plant and was out of eye sight. later that night my brother said "when did you get feeders?" and i looked up to see a tail sticking out of the oscars mouth. i got him to spit it out, but i was to late.

And thanks to all who replied. i appreciate it.
