fresh water stonefish?

Dam I didn't know they were poisonous! WTH! the LFSO said oh these are fresh water their not poisonous. I was handling him way too carelessly!! Lucky I didn't have to find out the hard way!!
 
i want one they are so cool would a 20gal long be good for life ?

I'm not sure about their adult size? But ya they are pretty cool looking. Sometimes I'll mistake it for a rock lol! They can blend in with rocks so good they name is appropriate.

BR is in between FW and SW... might be a little challenging...

haha, i didn't even know it was poisonous when i got mine... anyway my endlies and marbled gobies killed it :( when i didn't feed them for a day. Kind of wierd how something like the freshwater stonefish can get killed so easily?
 
I have a 6" toad fish who gets along quite well with everything in my tank, never eaten a soul other than the live feeders but man does he gulp them down! cool fish just boring to watch unless feeding.
 
the brackish alll depends on the species some like it more salty and some like it more fresh. they are venomous and will give you a sting. not quite as bad as a wasp fish. but still avoid it. they will eat anything that will fit in their mouth.
 
theyre not poisonus and they'll only take live foods. the saltwater variety are poisonos though
