we feed ours floating pellits and the blocks of blood worms. oh and our bigger one likes to try and eat fish to big for his mouth???? i dont understand, but he cant get his mouth around them so its kinda funny to watch

Will they eat Hikari Food Sticks? And how should i try to change its diet? I changed many of my fish's diets but not a gar, still fairly new.
