i'm building my new tank, want to keep rays but feeling a bit cautious to do so

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hi Mike,

pm Aquaman45 first as he is a top man and a top breeder and the journey would be on the M1 which is not too far off the M25 (ok maybe a few hours) but he is the man!

Maidenhead Aquatics stock a lot of Rays and Windsor has an in house breeder, they have about 10 nice rays at the moment (Motoro at £125 for pups and Pearls at £1200 for pair)

Hope this helps

£80 12inches. looks nice in the pic.

there are more on there. beleive kdc advertise on the same site with 50 for 6" pups.

hope this helps.

lots and lots of ray sellers about in the UK but it all depends on a few factors

distance is nothing i would drive 300 miles for the right ray

what type of ray you are looking for

price some shops and sellers are much more expencive than others double in some cases

dont rush into it good cheap rays come up for sale all the time on aquarist classifieds

i also think 5ft deep is a bit deep it would look cool but just think about looking after it you would also need a lot of mid water fish to fill that 5ft gap
