Anyone have experience using surge devices on their reef tanks. I'm going to build some outdoor soft coral systems and was thinking of doing a 55 gallon barrel surge device. I think they are known as Carlson surge device, Bell siphon, bell and siphon, autosiphon, etc. Was just looking for some pics and advice. Really would like to see one in action. I know there are guys with pics on youtube but I figure MFK'rs got bigger Danks. LOL.
