salt question

Adding salt will also lengthen the time it takes for the tank to establish itself. I'd worry about getting the tank cycled and stable first, then look at treating the animal - if it is indeed sick.

From the description, I'd say it's just sloughing due to the stress of the cycle.
 
thanks for the info. i just fed him and he is a monster lol..when i turn on the lights and open the lid he goes crazy.. he knows food is coming..i love to watch him eat. the past couple of days he hasen't shown any signs of stress.

he dose his regular.. search for food, swim around then burry in the sand..rest..then start over

i cant wait for him to get bigger.i think ill wait the cycle out then add some salt
