water snakes???

Honestly I'd echo Eric, Chris, and gigas' suggestions. You really don't want to keep them in a literal aquarium type setup or even a paludarium. If you want some more ideas try searching for caresheets for garter or ribbon snakes; you'd want to keep a water snake pretty similarly (more space of course). Generally dry cage, large water pan (cat litter pan or dishpan, etc), warm and cool hides, maybe a low branch or 2 and see if he uses them.

I'm curious what people think about converting these guys to rodents. Personally I think it's a good idea (for convenience, and because fish diet = smelly).
