how does this compare to an ac110?
 
Can you special order some that are larger than 120cm? A 120cm will only fit a 4 foot tank, roughly. I believe some MFK members, me included, would truly be interested if you carried some OHF's for tanks which are 6 feet in length. I've been trying to locate a OHF for my 110 gal for about 2 to 3 months, but have had no success in doing so.

So, can you try and help us out here with OHF's for some of our tanks which are 6 feet in length? If this is a do-able task, how long would it take for the OHF's to arrive for purchase? Are there any warranties on these from the date of purchase? What does the warranties cover? How would I go about filing a claim on the warranty and who do I submitt the claim to, you or the Manufacturer? How long does it take for a claim on the warranties to be fully processed?

One last question. Living in NE Arizona, would you UPS GROUND SHIP or would I have to meet you half way, say maybe Topock, AZ or in Needles, CA? Just wanted to know, so if I had to make the road trip, I could plan for the day off from work. Thanks.

have you taken into account any cross bracing ? I may be wrong, but usually there's a crosbracing every 2-3 feet. My 240 (6 ft) have 2 cross bracing..I don't think I have a seen a 6 foot tank with no cross bracing in glass or acrylic. If there is, you must have a very very thick glass to prevent bowing..

David, I am not a vendor nor am I in the fish business...I am a hobbyist like you. These items are from a friend's fish store that ended before it started. So I only have what I have and I will not be ordering anything overseas for anyone here...I am in an entirely different occupation and that takes priority.

The 120cm OHF should work fine on your tank...reply back if you want one.

Here's a thought: if you really want your filter to stretch across your entire tank length, get one 120cm and one 60cm and that equals roughly 6 feet.

If you carefully re-read my original for sale post, you will see that I am willing to ship via UPS Ground at your expense.

And I cannot drive to Needles or AZ to meet you halfway so you can save $30-40 in shipping fees...I live in Los Angeles, CA...check google maps if you're not clear about how far away that is from you. Did you not think that through before you asked? I hope that was a joke.
 
so what makes this filter so good? what is the output?
