that could be your problem in breeding him/her think you can get a close up?

I'm positive he is a male. I have seen his tube sticking out more and it was skinny, my male parrots tube looks like that when hes not getting any if you catch my drift. That and the fact that he always does male courting things when hes around her. If I separate them and reintroduce he goes ******* crazy and does it again. I think why I haven't been able to get them to spawn was he was too little and young and because I won't leave them alone long enough for the female to feel secure..

"He" does kinda look like a male. Maybe because his horn is on the bottem. A lower-horn. haha

But dont be suprised if "he" lays some eggs eventually. I've seen ALOT of fish, but no males with a breeding tube quite like that.
BTW, Judging sex by personality has no barring whatsoever. I've seen females a 3rd the size of all male tankmates and she ran the show.

Well not necessarily on aggression behavior but the way he is acting, he is showing all the male courting signs. Now I am not sure how females court but he is showing male ones. His breeding tube is a little weird, I will admit.

It may appear that way with the pictures I have taken but it doesn't when you actually look at him. Hes a ***** to get a picture of. I vented him a while back, his was long and pointy and my females was shorter and rounder. I really don't want to do it right now because I already have messed with them enough.
