Thanks Ben; just wish that he wasn't so aggressive. Had to take him out of the 150-Gallon after he ripped up one of the Oscars pretty badly. A few fin-nips here and there on the others, but nothing too bad until recently.benzjamin13;4757242; said:Sweet Knife![]()

I'd say about 12" now that I think of it. Haven't really thought about his size really, lol.ScatMan;4760831; said:nice stripes too! how big?

BTW, I found a good way to house knives together with other fish. I use 4 bricks as corner bases and a giant rubbermaid lid covering them. Then I put some weight on top of rubbermaid. Punch some small holes on the lid for air to escape. The knife will only hang out below the rubbermaid lid that is supported by the bricks. Other fish will also know that's the knives territory. Still, just one knife per tank.
I'd say that he is still growing; it's been more than a year since I first purchased him, and he's grown about 2" I'd say. And I'd agree that 30" sounds way too far off; I'd agree with 16"-18" or so. Largest I have seen in captivity was around 14".Scorponok;4764083; said:Nice. Do you think it's still growing? According to fishbase they get up to 30 inches, which I think it's BS. Thanks, and Carapo Knives normally don't do well with most fish, lol.. normally at least, or from my experience with this guy.snow;4764193; said:He looks great. Nice looking fish there. I really like them but the current fish I have won't go with that kind of fish.![]()
