At a local hardware store and they have #20 Quartz sand. Is this safe to use? Uploading a pic.

Yeah that's fine if you like it, I prefer pool filter sand though.

Best I can find without it being the play sand. Pool stool is out so thia is what i.could.find.

It acutally does not look that bad. The color is better than pool sand.

Looks like natural sand. Is play sand even aquarium safe? I work at toys r us and we have 1000s of lbs of play sand. I was thinking about buying some for my tank.
