I went to BRS today to place an order on t5 bulbs as it's about that time where i need to replace my bulbs and i noticed that ATI put out a new bulb called the Coral Plus, it's supposed to aid in coral growth as it's some new found spectrum that's secret to ATI that stimulates better coral growth.

Anyways my predicament right now is..... after reading reviews on this new bulb it sounds like it's really worth it running as a daylight bulb. Currently im running 4 Blue plus for my daylights with 2 aquablues and 2 purple plus for actinics. Would it be wise to replace 2 Blue plus with these new Coral Plus' ?

Or should i say screw it all and start working on my DIY LED fixture already haha =P, no but serious, thoughts?

The bulb combo i am running is 4 blue+, 1 purple+ and 1 ge6500k and that makes everything pop

As im running it right now which appears to do fine, (coral growth is "slow" but fine even with calcium, iodine and stront/molyb dosing) I have 2 aquablue specials and 2 purple plus coming on at 9am, then 4 blue plus come on an hour later and go off at 8pm and then the rest go off at 9pm.

Im thinking of going 4 blue plus as the daylights still (the ones that come on afterwards) and then for the bulbs that come on first at 9 going 2 coral plus, 1 purple plus and 1 true actinic 03
