Started an Organic Farm in Upstate New York, I have six 16 x 42 greenhouses, and am looking to add a new building for fish farming as well as fresh water shrimp. We have Bass and Catfish in ponds outside. I feed the fish - bugs and produce so they are healthier than the pelleted fed fish. I think I will start with eight 8 by 32 by 4 deep ponds in greenhouse structure, I have Banana Trees that will go into this building also. My Koi have always done better with eating the more natural way. I never understood floating food for bottom feeding koi, one of the Koi I have had for 27 years, shes a big girl. She's not fat she's Big Boned. Does anyone have any advice or comments.

Also, what's your shrimp setup like? Do you breed them or just buy juvies? If you breed them, what's your brackish / salt water setup like? I'm guessing you're just using growout tanks for the spring / summer, or are they heated for year-round production?
