haha i know i have heard they are slow growers but i dont mind watching fish grow its one of my favorite parts of the hobby.
Update: i got a free!!! 45 gallon pentagon tank and stand a couple of days back. Im really liking the tank i have never seen a pentagon tank. So i put aIl the fish from the 30 gallon in it last night. And i will get some pictures up later today.

It has been about 2.5 months since the last update and their red is coming out nice!!!

Havent done an update on the tapajos for a while. Its been about two months since the last update and they have been moved to the 120 with the big boys. They have been there for about a month now with no problems. There still around the size since the last update. The colors are coming in nice but the pictures dont really show it.

Really cool! I have seven growing out now. Can't wait for their color to really start coming in. You have some nice looking fish.
i think i have two male and two females two of them have much more orange on the head they are bigger in size and the pelvic fins are long aswell as there caudal fin is getting some point.the other two arent as big, not as much orange color, and fins arent as long. im not really sure if that has anything to do with sexing them.
