It's about 2.5", the number of spots it has changes from 1-3, operculum spot, in the middle of the flank and the caudal peduncle. You can't really tell in the photo's but it's quite a 'fat' fish, so I'm leaning towards female. Are there other characteristics to look at, head shape, fins?
